Each of the user groups sponsored by CADD Microsystems shares a common goal. To provide a forum for Revit users to share ideas, methods, and practices in a relaxed environment. Through that lens, RevitRVA welcomed two great presenters to the stage last Thursday.
Those presenters were Dana De Filippi of SmithGroup in Washington DC, and Chris Harrison of Quinn Evans Architects in Richmond, VA.
During her presentation, Dana shared how she leverages Revit, Dynamo, and Excel to automate occupancy calculations at SmithGroup. While the discussion itself focused on occupancy calculations, her workflow transcends disciplines.
Following, Chris shared a presentation titled Revit Family Issues. His presentation explored some of the innovative Revit Families used at Quinn Evans Architects.
Through an initiative started in late 2018, our team broadcast Thursday’s meeting live to YouTube. A full recording of the meeting is now available on the CADD Microsystems YouTube page.
If you’ve never joined us, RevitRVA meets every other month at Moseley Architects in Richmond, VA. There is no charge to attend, but registration is necessary so we can order enough food for each meeting. All Revit users, even those who do not work with CADD Microsystems, are welcome to attend.
While we would love for you to join us in person, we do now broadcast RevitRVA meetings live online. Be sure to stay tuned for the agenda and registration details for the April 2019 RevitRVA meting.
