CADD On The Road - BILT North America 2017

Kelli MarakovitsAugust 2nd, 2017

Here we go again! Our team at CADD Microsystems is back on the road and this time we're heading to the BILT North America conference in Toronto. This year's event will take place August 3-5 at Westin Harbour Castle located on the shores of Lake Ontario and features speakers from around the country, including CADD Microsystem's own Jason Kunkel and Purvi Gandhi Irwin.

BILT (formerly known as the Revit Technology Conference) is 3-day educational and networking event, designed for those in the design, build, and operate industry. Dedicated to improving the way the industry works together, the conference is a great opportunity for  users to explore the latest technology and industry trends, learn from the top experts in the field, gain valuable insights from local and international users, and have a little fun!

Jason Kunkel, our AEC Manager, will be presenting a session on maintaining Revit model standards with Autodesk Model Checker and Configurator. The lab will cover the specific functionality of the Model Checker in Revit, how to work with check results, and cover creation and editing of model checks in the Configurator. Attendees will learn how to use the Model Checker and Configurator, as well as best practices for check creation and where to find additional resources.

Purvi Gandhi Irwin our Senior Application Specialist, will lead a discussion on how to use Revit to create the best signage package ever. Putting together a signage package can be tedious work and requires great attention to detail. This session will provide tips and tricks for using 3D components, tags, schedules, schedule keys, and worksets to create a signage package that everyone in the office will envy.

We are thrilled to be a part of the 16th annual BILT (Buildings Infrastructure Lifecycle, supported by Technology; Building and bringing Industry Leadership Together)! Be sure to follow us on Twitter (@CADD) for updates from the road, and be on the lookout for future blog posts from our speakers at the conference.
