New on CADD Community! The CADD Community is our online portal, powered by Global eTraining and loaded with on-demand training, apps, model/design content and whitepapers, built to help our clients use their Autodesk software more efficiently. This blog series highlights new content recently added to CADD Community, and why you need it.
This week, we've added two new scripts to the Dynamo Content Pack on the CADD Community. This new Dynamo asset was inspired by the popularity of our recent Dynamo training classes held at our Alexandria and Baltimore offices. Both scripts are designed to interact with Revit parameters in different ways and automate what would otherwise be a tedious and time-consuming process. The new scripts include:
Sync Parameter Values This script will copy parameter value(s) from families in one category to families in another family category by matching values for a common identifier.
Fill Key Schedule This script will fill in a key schedule from information in an excel document. There is no known limit to the number of parameters values that can be imported.
These new Dynamo scripts join our existing collection of scripts already found inside our Dynamo Scrips for Revit Content Pack. This content pack is one of nine exclusively available to CADD Community members.
