Autodesk Advance Steel 2016 The Basic Course

Autodesk Advance Steel 2016 The Basic Course

Course Duration : 10 Hours

This course is structured into seven lectures describing modeling and best practices when learning and using Autodesk® Advance Steel® 2016. It is an introduction to working with Advance Steel, describing the basic methodology with detailed workflows for the most commonly used tools.

In addition to the text and step-by-step instructions found here, example data sets with drawings and training videos are provided to enhance the curriculum. The data sets and drawings referenced throughout the course are a simple steel structure model and are meant to be used as practical exercises for learning more about the tools found in Advance Steel. The videos follow closely with the text and provide visual and detailed overviews of many common modeling practices. Every lecture is designed to use all learning styles from text, audio, video, interactivity, quizzes and practical “Let Me Try” examples.

To get the most out of this course, we strongly recommend you review every topic within the course, and use all the learning styles to ensure you retain the important information within. We also encourage you to take all the progress tests to ensure you have retained the knowledge, and most importantly practice with the real world, Let Me Try examples.

e-Training Course Navigation Strategies:

Intermediate/Advanced Users: Use the course as a flexible resource tool to find what you need, whenever you need it. Try the assessment tests first, if you get 80% you can move to the next level, if you get less than 80% you should complete the lecture.
