CADD Community Receives Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Award

Eden DavisSeptember 21st, 2016

CADD Microsystems and Global eTraining have been recognized with a Bronze Medal in the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards for Best Use of Blended Learning. The Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards Program is the most prestigious awards program in the professional development industry, often times called the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives.

“Winning a Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award means an organization is an elite innovator within Human Capital Management. The award signifies that the organization’s work represents a leading practice in that HCM function,” said Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program. “Their achievement is also notable because of the positive impact their work in HCM has on business results. All award winners have to demonstrate a measurable benefit to the business, not just the HCM operation. That’s an important distinction. Our HCM award winners are helping to transform the business.” The award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts and executives based upon the following criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measurable benefits.

Through the CADD Community, CADD Microsystems is able to provide its customers with online, on-demand training for Autodesk and design products to enable organizations to complete projects on time and on budget. These on-demand courses are intended to either complement or substitute CADD Microsystems’ award-winning classroom training.

“Our mission is to help our customers be successful through the use of technology, and training is an integral part of that process,” said Matt Davoren, president and COO of CADD Microsystems. “When our customers invest in powerful solutions like Autodesk products, it’s vital that they know how to get as much out of that technology as possible. We put a lot of emphasis on providing our students with the best training experience from start to finish,” explained Davoren. “Whether it’s our award-winning instructors or access to continual learning, we pride ourselves on being the best.”

After CADD’s classroom students began receiving access to the CADD Community courses, tools, and resources in late 2013, CADD’s customer effectiveness scores began to grow. Even though CADD Microsystems was already ranked as the top Autodesk Training Center in the Mid-Atlantic, their ranking in these vital capacities over the three-year period were:

  • I learned new knowledge and skills: overall score: 96.6% - 2.53% increase
  • I will be able to apply the new skills: overall score: 95% - 3.46% increase
  • The new skills will improve my performance:overall score: 94.8% - 3.22% increase
