The CADD Foundation was established in 2013, and its mission is to connect people with volunteer and educational opportunities that allow them to positively impact their local communities. Given the current circumstances, the Foundation wants to connect our followers with ideas and opportunities to help at a time when so many people could use it.
CADD Foundation 2020 Fall Fundraiser
As many schools have adopted a virtual-only start to the school year, we recognize the needs of many students in our communities who rely on their schools for nourishing meals throughout the day. Not being physically present at school will increase hunger and food insecurity in these children.
The CADD Foundation will be making donations to food banks local to our four offices in Baltimore, Northern Virginia, Richmond and North Carolina. Due to COVID restrictions, monetary donations are being requested over food donations.
If you’d like to contribute and help the CADD Foundation support organizations that provide children with meals, CLICK HERE. 100% of your donations will go to the food bank of your choice (In the dropdown on the donation page, you’ll have the option to select one of the four organizations below.)
The food banks we chose are all accredited by Feeding America:
- Baltimore – Maryland Food Bank
- Alexandria – Capital Area Food Bank
- Richmond – Feed More
- Charlotte – Second Harvest Metrolina
We will be accepting donations through the end of September and will make the donation in October. Be on the lookout for future blog posts where we’ll share fundraising updates so you can see how we’ve positively impacted our communities.
The CADD Foundation is an official 501(c)3, and all donations are tax-deductible.
