Combine Parameters in Your Revit Schedules

June 6th, 2016

A Revit schedule is an extremely powerful tool, but up until Revit 2017 it has been unable to combine other parameters into a single field. This has led to many workarounds involving plug-ins, macros, copy/paste, and a slew of ingenious solutions that unfortunately usually involved a level of manual input from the user. With the new Combined Parameters field in Revit 2017, Revit will now automatically concatenate any combination of parameters associated with the schedule’s category. It’s quick, it’s easy, and most importantly it’s automatic so Revit will take care of everything for you.
