New on CADD Community - Custom Bluebeam Revu Interactive Stamp

Digital markups are at the core of what Bluebeam Revu does best, and Interactive Stamps make that functionality even better. Interactive Stamps give you the ability to place dynamic text within your markup. Although Bluebeam Revu ships with a small collection of sample stamps, they’re truly just the beginning. This week, our team is demonstrating that by building upon the Engineering Review Stamp that ships with Bluebeam Revu.

Custom Bluebeam Revu Stamp

Our team has expanded the default stamp to now include a dynamic Reviewed By field that allows you to select multiple reviewers if necessary. In fact, being an interactive stamp, the following dialog appears when you first place the stamp. Beyond simply collecting the information necessary for the stamp itself, the JavaScript powering the stamp can also validate the field properties to ensure data is properly structured. This behavior is most noticeable in the Date field below.

After specifying values for each of the fields inside the Stamp Dialog, the stamp is placed into your PDF as a markup tracked like any other markup in Bluebeam Revu. Here’s a preview of what the stamp looks like when placed into your PDF.
