On the eleventh day of CADD Care, my CADD team gave to me… an easy way to update floor plans in the field!
One of the many great features of FM: Interact is the ability to access your floor plans in the field using FM: Mobile. You can even apply different Graphic Views to the floor plans on your mobile device to control the annotations and visual display. Imagine completing a walkthrough of your space and being able to make changes in real time!
Some specific examples of how you can use FM: Mobile for space management on your mobile device include:
- Update room assignments
- Verify room names and capacity
- Highlight vacant seats
- Find conference rooms
- View documents associated with a room
- Run reports to view building metrics
All without being tied to a workstation.
