Twelve Days of CADD Care (Day Twelve): Industry Innovation

Kelli MarakovitsDecember 16th, 2022

On the twelfth day of CADD Care, the CADD Team gave to me… Industry Innovation!

We love sharing best practices and innovation in the industry; which is why we enjoy participating in and hosting both in-person and online events. This year, we have returned to our in-person Revit Queen City User Group events in Charlotte as well as Autodesk University - Autodesk's user conference that brings together 10,000+ professionals from the architecture, design, manufacturing, and media industries for 3 days of learning sessions, networking and inspiration. We've also continued with our popular online Ask Us Anything: AEC Panel Discussions and the BIMxt Network. These events give direct access to AEC experts in both an online forum and an in-person setting.

The Revit Queen City User Group

We hope you'll join us for the next Revit Queen City User Group in Charlotte, NC which is sponsored by CADD Microsystems. If you're in the Charlotte area, join fellow Revit users as they share their ideas, methods, and best practices in order to further the Building Information Modeling (BIM) benefits for the local design community.

The Ask Us Anything: AEC & Bluebeam Panel Discussion

At CADD, we get lots of questions from our clients through our CADD Care helpdesk, classroom training, or while assisting on a project. And we love finding the answers.

That is why our Ask Us Anything: AEC & Bluebeam Panel Discussions have become a favorite event that we host throughout the year. During these events, we take your software, implementation and workflow questions and ask them to our panel of technical experts and support team. They answer your questions live and give additional tips and supporting content along the way. It is always fun to put our team on the spot and test their knowledge while learning something new.

Think you can stump our experts? Gather your best questions and register for an upcoming Ask Anything event. Visit our Events page for more information.

The BIMxt Network

Each month, we bring together leading BIM experts to provide a platform for discussion of challenges and accomplishments when using models for design, construction and building operations. From Automation to Modeling Coordination to Generative Design, the BIMxt Network covers the ever-evolving conversation of BIM so that you may learn from others who are working with similar processes. Our moderator, Dana De Filippi – Associate, BIM Technologist at SmithGroup – leads the discussions and takes questions from the attendees to fuel the conversation. It is a fun way for us to come together and talk BIM virtually.

Visit the BIMxt Network on LinkedIn to learn more about upcoming meetings and become a member.

Upcoming Events

We hope to see you in person and virtually at one of our upcoming events! Be on the lookout for exciting event announcements as we head into 2023. As always, reach out to us if you have any questions.

Check back tomorrow for one more special post to finish the Twelve Days of CADD Care blog series.
